Permit requirements vary by municipality and job type. Road closures, lifts over public property, and work near utilities or airports may require permits. What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my lift?
Our crane operators retain the right to refuse or suspend work in unsafe conditions including high winds, lightning, and ice. Lightning protocol requires work to stop when lightning is detected within 30 kilometres, with a minimum 30-minute clear period before resuming. Weather-related downtime is billable at the applicable hourly rate. We communicate weather concerns proactively and work with you to reschedule where possible.
